We recently won a contract to produce an Annual Report and Business Plan for Cross River Partnership (CRP), a London-based public-private partnership that was originally formed 20 years ago to deliver cross-river infrastructure projects, such as the Millenium Bridge. Today, CRP delivers a wide range of multi-partner regeneration projects in central London and beyond.
The content for the document we’d been asked to provide creative input on promoted CRP projects over its 20 years, including Tate Modern, Battersea Power Station and a number of other smart city projects in and around the capital.
We produced a contemporary Art Deco illustration style throughout the document, reflecting the heritage of many of CRP’s projects – much of which featured Art Deco architecture, which was being redeveloped to form modern retail, business and residential spaces. We mixed old with new to create a distinctive new style.
In addition, the front cover of the report features a tree image, to represent London’s growth and its status as a sustainable and smart city. The tree’s roots are the city’s transport links, which grow into the trunk as a train station with the branches and leaves representing CRP’s various work.
It was great to see that the printed versions of the documents were launched last month at an event, attended by London Mayor Sadiq Khan.
