Creative Director John Dunne has always loved running but has upped his game since he joined Darlington Harriers in 2015. We’re thrilled to share that in this year’s Great North Run (his fourth) John achieved not one but two personal bests.
Running this tricky course in hot weather conditions in 1:39 he also raised £340 for St Teresa’s, the hospice that services his hometown of Darlington and surrounding areas.
John says: “I chose to run for St T’s as the team provides a vital service, providing excellent care in so many different ways – very glad to support them and the GNR always has a great vibe with runners coming from across the world to converge in the north east.”
