We’re looking for a graphic design intern to join our close-knit creative agency team in the centre of Newcastle. Our projects are exciting, diverse and worldwide and we want to hear from newly graduated graphic designers who have a genuine desire to join an ideas-based creative agency.
You’ll come with a good knowledge of the fundamentals of graphic design, ideally some motion graphics experience, and – essentially – the desire to immerse yourself in creative projects. In return our team will give invaluable advice and nurture you as you kickstart your creative career!
MAIN TASKS
- To work to brief on a variety of graphic design projects eg product brochures, factsheets, case studies, corporate materials, digital banners, PowerPoint presentations plus materials associated with larger branding, campaigns, website, animation and events projects.
- To become proficient in working on motion design projects.
- To learn how to storyboard your ideas
- To take instruction from senior team to support learning and development
- To work to deadlines
KEY ATTRIBUTES
- Good understanding of the fundamentals of graphic design – typography, layout, image-making
- Typographic skills
- Knowledge of motion design advantageous – and inhouse training will be given
- Creative approach, ideas-orientated
- Excellent eye for detail
- Excellent knowledge of Creative Cloud (inc InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and After Effects
- To become a key member of the team, helping others to ensure our agency and our people succeed
- To be organised, versatile and happy to get stuck in!
You’ll work on exciting and diverse projects for UK and global clients. Most recently we’ve been building brands and campaigns for clients in sectors including aviation, biotech, beauty, energy, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, transport & logistics and urban mobility.
