Transport branding for TfL, Mission Zero and beyond.

November 12, 2025

Branding and design for the transport and logistics sector is a prime example of the depth of knowledge and experience we’ve gained since 2009. Here our managing director John Dunne talks about our work for Transport for London, Mission Zero and beyond.

Over the years we’ve been fortunate to work with leading organisations within various sectors.  In transport and logistics, Transport for London has trusted us to deliver a series of creative campaigns to help improve road safety, compliance and the environment.

When we start a brand or communications campaign for a client, we understand that it must satisfy the needs of multiple project stakeholders and resonate within the industry of the client for whom we’re working

Experience of a specific sector and how design campaigns are applied for clients and their audiences is crucial.  So too is a collaborative approach, a demonstrable track record and a portfolio which shows originality, longevity and creativity.

Experience has taught us that if we hit the mark for a specific sector, we often secure new business through repeat work, client recommendations and word of mouth.

In the case of TfL, it’s been a welcome chance to use our branding and campaign expertise to help effect cultural change within transport and logistics.  These include:

Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS) – the creation of a two-tone brand identity, plus designs for infographics, signage, exhibition materials, website, an app and an animated film.

Construction Logistics – vibrant graphics and an inspiring, colourful logo for a partnership between TfL and The Chartered Institute of Transport & Logistics.

Work Related Road Risk (WRRR) – a safety initiative for which we designed materials for a compliance toolkit used to engage UK wide transport and logistics organisations.

Safe Urban Driving – designing a fresh brand for a comprehensive course trainer pack to support TfL’s drive to improve road safety in the freight and fleet industry.

CLOCS is an industry leading initiative for change which won a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award.  Construction Logistics picked up a CIVITAS award for ‘Innovation in Construction Logistics in urban areas’.

Our work for the London Mayor and Transport for London was built on the depth of experience we had gained from working on projects like Connect Tees Valley in the North East.  That original brand marque we worked on back in 2012 is still going strong today!

It shows that regional opportunities to contribute original ideas, creativity and design flair can be the springboard to working on national projects.

Others include:

Mission Zero – a powerful brand identity for the UK road fleet sector aiming at reducing both collisions and emissions.

LaMilo – an engaging, illustrative brand campaign for a project to improve efficiency of final mile freight deliveries, which became a logistics benchmark across North West Europe.

All of this work has nurtured our reputation as a trusted partner to deliver often complex branding and communication projects.  Specialising in this field has benefited industry leaders in transport and logistics since 2009.
