County Durham NHS – Safe Zone brand identity
Launched in 2009 by County Durham NHS Trust, Safe Zone was a directory for young people (aged 11-16) tackling issues such as homelessness, addiction, teenage pregnancy, self harm and abuse. It provided all this useful, visually engaging information in the form of a pocket-sized directory.
Extremely well received in its first year, Safe Zone was subsequently rolled out across other Trusts in the north east of England and was in circulation, helping vulnerable young people, for four years.
This project included brand identity, character design, focus group discussions, design of Safe Zone directory and other marketing materials.
